HOUSE OF MATHS PRIMARY & SECONDARY:
Mathematics enrichment talks, assemblies and maths workshops for both primary & secondary (Early Years up to Year 8). Brought to you by experienced Oxford M.A. and Mathematical Entertainer Barney Maunder-Taylor. A typical one-day visit will cater for your entire Primary school or for the whole of your Years 7&8 at Secondary level. Can include some or all of:
Suitable for up to 9 classes of 30 at a time, and packed with numeracy, geometry and pattern from the National Curriculum.
MATHS ENRICHMENT TALKS:
For up to 9 classes of 30 at a time, with Key Stage 3 numeracy, geometry and algebra, to both reinforce and extend what students would usually see in the classroom, and enthuse your students for GCSE mathematics.
Up to Year 9, with every student doing hands-on maths themselves. Topics include making, naming and classifying polyhedra, Gaussian distributions (KS3); problem solving team puzzles, probability with dice (KS2); nets of 3D shapes, tessellations, attributes of shapes (KS1) or get in touch to request a bespoke workshop on a topic of your choice.
