Samuel Pepys Workshop

So your learning about the great fire of London and the great plague….what’s so great about it all? By welcoming Samuel Pepys to your school he will explain all about his life and why he wrote about all that we know at this time thanks to him. This fantastically well developed and comical portrayal of Mr Pepys often has the children in fits of laughter because I’ve made it really silly with lots of interactive explanations and props designed to provoke questions, or in the very least a few urghs or aghs.

This is one of my most popular talks with repeat bookings for numerous schools each year and with some fantastic feedback. One child once telling me she had never laughed so much she had to go to the toilet! Best testament to date.
