Educational animal encounters and mobile zoo with Teaching Talons

EDUCATION TO LIFE WITH OUR ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS:

Teaching Talons (The Animal Ambassadors) Ltd. can bring our animal encounters team to your school for an unforgettable learning experience in the comfort of the classroom! We have our own jungle themed stand, backdrop and tables that we bring with us and decorate to make our visit extra special and exciting. Why not save expensive mini bus hire, hours of planning and risk assessments by letting our team do the hard work for you!

School bookings are ideal for classroom lessons of 30 children or less. Class numbers can be made bigger when required. We get each child up close to all the animals and you can also choose to add a hands-on element for children over 5 at no extra cost, enabling the pupils to touch, hold and even feed some of the animals.

Students will be introduced to the animals throughout these interactive 50 minute sessions. Handling is included for students aged 5+. Can’t see what you want? Just let us know and we can tailor our visit to a topic of your choice! Each topic can be adapted to the appropriate age group and key stage as we ask for this information when you make your booking. Session lengths can be extended for bespoke bookings. If you book multiple classes for the same day you also receive our multi-session discount!

HALF DAY AND FULL DAY ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS:

Teaching Talons also offer longer half day (2.5 hours) or full day (5 hours plus lunch break) workshops consisting of animal encounters and handling, artefact examination, activities, crafts to take home and more!

For half-day animal encounter workshops, you can choose from Awesome Animals or Discover Dinosaurs.

For our full day animal encounter workshops, both of these sessions are combined for a packed and inspiring day. We provide all of the materials and equipment for these sessions and they suit holiday clubs and activities as well as schools.

We also offer a mobile zoo experience.
