The amazing feats of the ancient Maya people are explored through their stepped pyramid Temple building and techniques for cutting and transporting the stone. Working in groups pupils work as a team to construct fourteen 2m square sections of one huge three tierd Mayan Temple structure standing some 4m high topped with a sacrifical hut. Combineing Gross and Fine Motor Skills, Listening and Communication Skills Maths, DT, History, Teamwork, Problem Solving and Resilience. A large hall space is essential
