Infant End of School Activities

Workshops are a great way to congratulate  not only for students but also the adults. The last week always seems to be a dragging struggle. We have come up with great ways to keep each year group entertained, from reception up to year 2

Reception

Indoors

After year 6s, we can all agree that receptions have had a big jump in their lives. Sometimes they’re still too young to do everyday activities like the older students. With the English weather being very unpredictable, sometimes its best to stay indoors. What better way than with an education dance workshop. Dance Days (https://bookschoolworkshops.com/workshop/category-academy-celebrations/educational-dance-workshops-for-schools/) hold workshops in multicultural and international dance style as well as dances that can be included in to the schools curriculum. The dance workshops not only build up confidence in children. They also allow the children to get an education in a new format. Lastly, dance is a great way to see the shy children shining.

Outdoors

However, if you get a lucky or want to take a chance of planning an outdoor activity. The creative and curriculum workshop can make of it (https://bookschoolworkshops.com/workshop/category-academy-celebrations/creative-and-curriculum-workshop/). They provide any workshops you wish to and have had over 14 years of experience in delivering workshops to schools. However, they not only offer the workshops, but they also ensure the whole day/event runs smoothly, so you don’t have to do anything! You can even get involved with the workshops yourself!

Year 1

Indoors

Year 1s are old enough to start to appreciate visual experiences, so Cross-Curricular Digital Domes Workshop (https://bookschoolworkshops.com/workshop/category-ancient-world/cross-curricular-digital-domes/) bring unforgettable experiences. They deliver 360 degrees of space experiences. Educating our future generation on cross-curricular subject content (biology, history, maths, geology, dinosaurs, evolution, environmental science, art and music), as well as new media art and multi-sensory immersive experiences. Most noteworthy is that they offer the world’s most extensive catalogue of fulldome (360˚) films.

Outdoors

Squire Circus Skills School Workshops (https://bookschoolworkshops.com/workshop/category-carnival/squire-circus-skills-school-workshop/). A circus is not only something you have to visit but something you can be involved in. Ran my expert circus instructors it allows the little ones to burn off energy and make some new skills for life. They start by demonstrating the circus skills the children will learn that day. Overall the aim is to focus on making learning fun and building confidence through learning.

Learning outdoors

Year 2

Indoors

Astronomy Shows with Wonderdome Mobile Planetarium (https://bookschoolworkshops.com/workshop/category-creative-writing/astronomy-shows-with-wonderdome-mobile-planetarium/). Wonderdome Mobile Planetarium can be set up in just about any ample indoor space and cater for many years groups in one day. It teaches children all about space by astronomy enthusiasts. The dome takes learning to a new level and lets children learn about what is beyond our universe.

Outdoors

Ancient and modern Egyptian drumming and dance (https://bookschoolworkshops.com/workshop/category-dance/ancient-and-modern-egyptian-drumming-and-dance/). Ancient Egypt is a fascinating subject for children and can be related to the children’s curriculum. They are bringing the celebratory aspect of Ancient and modern Egyptian culture with our Presentation, Dance / Drumming Workshops and Show. 2/4 or 5-hour workshops are available with drumming and dance.
